1) Before Sunny Deol, his role was offered to Amitabh Bachchan. But for some reason he refused to act in the film.
2) During the dubbing of an emotional scene of this film, Rakhee shouted so loudly that her throat was starting to ache. Then he had to go to the hospital for this.
3) This film was the first film of Sunny Deol and Meenakshi Seshadri. After this, both of them worked together in many more films.
4) Before making the dacoit film, director Rahul Rawail met Phoolan Devi in jail to know about the dacoits very well.
5) To make the film, director Rahul Rawail turned down the offer of two films.

डकैत फिल्म से जुड़ी कुछ अनसुनी बातें ( Facts in Hindi ) :
1) सन्नी देओल से पहले उनका रोल अमिताभ बच्चन को ऑफर हुआ था. लेकिन कुछ कारण से उन्होंने इस फिल्म में काम करने से मना कर दिया था.
2) इस फिल्म के एक इमोशनल सीन की डबिंग के दौरान राखी इतने ज़ोर से चिल्लाई थी की उनके गले के नसों में दर्द होने लगा था. फिर इसके लिए उन्हें अस्पताल भी जाना पड़ा था.
3) ये फिल्म सन्नी देओल और मिनाक्षी शेषाद्रि की साथ में पहली फिल्म थी. इसके बाद दोनों ने और भी कई फिल्मो में साथ काम किया था.
4) डकैत फिल्म को बनाने से पहले डायरेक्टर राहुल रवैल ने जेल में फूलन देवी से मुलाकात की थी, ताकि वे डकैतों के बारे में काफी अच्छे से जान सके.
5) इस फिल्म को बनाने के लिए डायरेक्टर राहुल रवैल ने दो फिल्मो का ऑफर ठुकरा दिया था.
6) इस फिल्म में मिनाक्षी शेषाद्रि से पहले श्रीदेवी को साइन किया गया था. लेकिन कुछ कारण से बाद में उन्होंने ये फिल्म छोड़ दिया था.
