Bombay Movie Unknown Facts :
1) Bombay is a Tamil film, but the film was also released in Hindi, Telugu and Malayalam languages. The Telugu and Hindi versions of the film were released on the same day on 10 March 1995.
2) Director Mani Ratnam offered the lead role to cameraman Rajiv Menon. But he rejected this offer. Then he was replaced by Arvind Swamy.
3) The film was banned in Singapore and Malaysia.
4) With this film, AR Rahman won the South Filmfare Award for Best Music Director for four consecutive times.
5) In this film, Sonali Bendre did an item song in the song Humma Humma.
6) The story of this film was based on the riots that took place in Bombay from December 1992 to January 1993.

1) बॉम्बे एक तमिल फिल्म है , लेकिन इस फिल्म को हिंदी, तेलुगु और मलयालम भाषाओँ में भी रिलीज़ किया गया था. इस फिल्म के तेलुगु और हिंदी वर्शन को एक ही दिन में 10 मार्च सन 1995 में रिलीज़ किया गया था.
2) डायरेक्टर मणि रत्नम ने कैमरामैन राजीव मेनोन को लीड रोल का ऑफर दिया था. लेकिन उन्होंने ये ऑफर रिजेक्ट कर दिया था. फिर उनकी जगह अरविन्द स्वामी को लिया गया था.
