1) This film was the second film of Emraan Hashmi’s about cricket topic. Prior to this he also worked in the film Jannat which was made on the cricket topic.
2) The story of this film was based on the life of cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin.
3) In this film, Prachi Desai played the role of Mohammad Azharuddin’s first wife and Nargis Fakhri played the role of second wife i.e Sangeeta Bijlani.
4) The film had a remake of the famous song “Oye Oye” from the film Tridev.
5) Akshay Kumar was given a special thanks before the film started. Because director Tony D’Souza considers Akshay Kumar as his mentor. Tony D’Souza’s debut film was Blue, in which Akshay Kumar appeared and Akshay Kumar was also seen in his second film Boss.
6) After the release of this film, Ravi Shastri was very angry with the makers of this film. Because he said that his character is shown negative in this film.

1) ये फिल्म इमरान हाश्मी की क्रिकेट टॉपिक वाली दूसरी फिल्म थी. इससे पहले उन्होंने जन्नत फिल्म में भी काम किया था जो क्रिकेट टॉपिक पर बनी थी.
2) इस फिल्म की कहानी मोहम्मद अज़हरुद्दीन की जीवन पर आधारित थी.
3) इस फिल्म में मोहम्मद अज़हरुद्दीन की पहली पत्नी का रोल प्राची देसाई ने निभाया था. तो दूसरी पत्नी यानी संगीता बिजलानी का रोल नरगिस फाखरी ने निभाया था.
4) इस फिल्म में त्रिदेव फिल्म का फेमस गाना ” ओये ओये ” का रीमेक किया गया था.
5) इस फिल्म के शुरू होने से पहले अक्षय कुमार को स्पेशल थैंक्स दिया गया था. क्योंकि डायरेक्टर टोनी डिसूज़ा अक्षय कुमार को अपना मेंटर मानते हैं. टोनी डिसूज़ा की डेब्यू फिल्म ब्लू थी जिसमे अक्षय कुमार नज़र आये थे और उनकी दूसरी फिल्म बॉस में भी अक्षय कुमार ही नज़र आये थे.
6) इस फिल्म के रिलीज़ होने के बाद रवि शास्त्री इस फिल्म के मेकर्स पर काफी गुस्सा हुए थे. क्योंकि उनका कहना था की इस फिल्म में उनके करैक्टर को नेगेटिव दिखाया गया है.
7) ये फिल्म इमरान हाश्मी और प्राची देसाई की साथ में दूसरी फिल्म थी. इससे पहले दोनों ने ” वन्स अपॉन अ टाइम इन मुंबई ” फिल्म में काम किया था.
8) इस फिल्म के लिए इमरान हाश्मी को खुद मोहम्मद अज़हरुद्दीन ने ही क्रिकेट ट्रेनिंग दी थी.

10) एकता कपूर इस फिल्म में रणबीर कपूर या रणवीर सिंह को लेना चाहती थी. लेकिन कुछ बात नहीं बन पायी थी.
