1) The remake of this film was later made in Telugu as well, titled Aatma Bandhuvulu and the film was released in 1987.
2) The film proved to be a silver jubilee hit in some places.
3) This film was the first film of Smita Patil and Rajesh Khanna together in 1986. In the same year, Anokha Rishta and Angaare films were also released.
4) When the announcement of this film was done in 1984, then Shabana Azmi was going to be seen in this film instead of Smita Patil. But later Shabana Azmi dropped out of this film for some reason.
5) During the 80s, director Mohan Kumar directed these 3 films including Avatar, All Rounder and Amrit, and the names of all three films start with “a”. Mohan Kumar had directed a total of 13 films in his film career and all the titles start with the title “a” except one of them .

1) इस फिल्म का रीमेक बाद में तेलुगु में भी बनाया गया था, जिसका टाइटल आत्मा बँधुवुलु थे और ये फिल्म सन 1987 में रिलीज़ हुयी थी.
2) ये फिल्म कुछ जगहों पर सिल्वर जुबली हिट साबित हुयी थी.
3) ये फिल्म स्मिता पाटिल और राजेश खन्ना की साथ में सन 1986 की पहली फिल्म थी. उसी साल दोनों की अनोखा रिश्ता और अंगारे फिल्म में रिलीज़ हुयी थी.
4) जब इस फिल्म की अनाउंसमेंट सन 1984 में हुयी थी, तब इस फिल्म में स्मिता पाटिल की जगह शबाना आज़मी नज़र आने वाली थी. लेकिन बाद में कुछ कारण से शबाना आज़मी इस फिल्म से हट गयी थी.
