1) When this film was announced then its title was Aatank and then Sunny Deol and Rajinikanth were going to be seen in this film. But due to the problem of dates, Sunny Deol later left this film.
2) This film was inspired by the 1972 Hollywood film “The Godfather”.
3) The film was delayed for three years due to financial problems.
4) This film was the first and only film of Aamir Khan and Rajinikanth together.
5) This film clashed with Ajay Devgan and Vinod Khanna’s film Hulchul and in this clash, Hulchul film won.
6) In a 1996 interview, Aamir Khan had said that the film was completely spoiled by the makers. Many scenes of this film were edited and removed, while some scenes were reshooted. Aamir Khan said that Signing this film was the biggest mistake of his career.
7) Pooja Bedi and Kabir Bedi did cameo in this film.
8) Before Pooja Bedi, her role was offered to Sonam. But she refused to work in this film.

1) जब इस फिल्म को अन्नोउंस किया गया था तब इसका टाइटल आतंक था और तब इस फिल्म में सनी देओल और रजिनीकान्त नज़र आने वाले थे. लेकिन डेट्स की प्रॉब्लम के चलते बाद में सनी देओल इस फिल्म से हट गए थे.
2) ये फिल्म सन 1972 में आयी हॉलीवुड फिल्म ” द गॉडफादर ” से इंस्पायर्ड थी.
3) ये फिल्म फाइनेंसियल प्रॉब्लम के चलते तीन साल तक डिले हुयी थी.
4) ये फिल्म आमिर खान और रजिनीकान्त की साथ में पहली और एकमात्र फिल्म थी.
5) ये फिल्म अजय देवगन और विनोद खन्ना की फिल्म हलचल के साथ क्लैश हुयी थी और इस क्लैश में हलचल फिल्म ने बाज़ी मारी थी.
