Aag Movie Unknown Facts :
1) This film was Sonali Bendre’s debut film. She played the role of Parul in this film.
2) The makers wanted to cast Juhi Chawla earlier in this film. But Juhi Chawla was busy with the rest of her films. Therefore, she refused to work in this film. She was then replaced by Sonali Bendre.
3) Akshay Kumar was first signed in this film. Akshay Kumar was a new comer at that time, so the makers thought that it would not be right to take Akshay Kumar in the film. Hence, he was later dropped from the film.
4) The film was a Hindi remake of the 1990 Tamil film Maruthu Pandi.
आग फिल्म से जुड़ी कुछ अनसुनी बातें ( Facts in Hindi ) :
1) ये फिल्म सोनाली बेंद्रे की डेब्यू फिल्म थी. इस फिल्म में उन्होंने पारुल का रोल निभाया था.
2) मेकर्स इस फिल्म में पहले जूही चावला को लेना चाहते थे. लेकिन जूही चावला अपनी बाकी फिल्मो में व्यस्त थी. इसलिए उन्होंने इस फिल्म में काम करने से मना कर दिया था. फिर उनकी जगह सोनाली बेंद्रे को लिया गया था.
3) इस फिल्म में पहले अक्षय कुमार को साइन किया गया था. अक्षय कुमार उस समय न्यू कमर थे, इसलिए मेकर्स को लगा की अक्षय कुमार को फिल्म में लेना ठीक नहीं होगा. इसलिए बाद में उन्हें इस फिल्म से हटा दिया गया था.
4) ये फिल्म सन 1990 में आयी तमिल फिल्म मरुथु पंडी की हिंदी रीमेक थी.
