1) The next day after the release of this film, Universal Pictures had called director Stephen Sommers and said that we need a sequel too.
2) In this film, the scene of the destruction of the library was shot in a single take. Because if there was a mistake, then it would be possible to do that scene on the second day itself.
3) The jail scene of this film was done in the apartment.
4) Out of the $80 million budget, 20 million dollars were spent in the special effect of this film.

1) इस फिल्म के रिलीज़ होने के अगले दिन ही यूनिवर्सल पिक्चर्स वालो ने डायरेक्टर स्टेफेन सोम्मेर्स को फ़ोन किया था और कहा था की हमें इसका सीक्वल भी चाहिए.
2) इस फिल्म में लाइब्रेरी के तबाही वाला जो सीन था उसे एक ही टेक में शूट किया गया था. क्योंकि अगर कोई गलती होती तो फिर उस सीन को दूसरे दिन ही कर पाना संभव हो पाता.
3) इस फिल्म का जो जेल वाला सीन था उस सीन को अपार्टमेंट में किया गया था.
