1) This film was Rajinikanth’s debut film in Bollywood.
2) Dharmendra did a cameo in this film. He appeared to be a truck driver.
3) This film was the Hindi remake of the 1981 Tamil film “Sattam Oru Iruttarai”.
4) Amitabh Bachchan was shown the original film and was asked to choose a role from it. So Amitabh Bachchan chose the role of a small forest officer. But in the Hindi remake, this role was extended.

3) ये फिल्म सन 1981 में आयी तमिल फिल्म ” सत्तम ओरु इरुत्तरइ ” की हिंदी रीमेक थी.
4) अमिताभ बच्चन को ओरिजिनल फिल्म दिखाया गया था और कहा गया था की इसमें से एक रोल चुनो. तो अमिताभ बच्चन ने छोटा सा फारेस्ट अफसर का रोल चुना था. लेकिन हिंदी रीमेक में इस रोल को थोड़ा से बढ़ा दिया गया था.
