Aradhana Movie Facts :
1) The film proved to be a blockbuster in both India and the Soviet Union.
2) The remake of this film was later made in Tamil and Telugu as well.
3) The dates of Rajesh Khanna and Sharmila Tagore were not matching while shooting for the song Mere Sapno Ki Rani. Sharmila Tagore was not able to go for a shoot in Darjeeling, so her part shooting was done in Bombay.
While Rajesh Khanna’s shooting was done in Darjeeling for this song. Then by editing, both were brought in the same frame.
4) The film was the first hit film by the pair of Rajesh Khanna and Sharmila Tagore.
5) Subhash Ghai was also seen in this film, he played the role of Suraj i.e. Rajesh Khanna’s friend in this film.
6) When Sharmila Tagore went to the stage to receive the Filmfare Award for Best Actress, she was pregnant and Saif Ali Khan was in her stomach.

आराधना फिल्म से जुड़ी कुछ अनसुनी बातें :
1) ये फिल्म भारत और सोवियत यूनियन दोनों जगहों पर ब्लॉकबस्टर साबित हुयी थी.
2) इस फिल्म का रीमेक बाद में तमिल और तेलुगु में भी बनाया गया था.
3) मेरे सपनो की रानी वाले गाने की शूटिंग के समय राजेश खन्ना और शर्मीला टैगोर के डेट्स मेल नहीं खा रहे थे. शर्मीला टैगोर दार्जीलिंग में शूट के लिए नहीं जा पा रही थी, इसलिए उनकी हिस्से की शूटिंग को बॉम्बे में ही की गयी थी.
जबकि राजेश खन्ना की शूटिंग इस गाने के लिए दार्जीलिंग में ही की गयी थी. फिर एडिटिंग कर के दोनों को एक ही फ्रेम में लाया गया था.
4) ये फिल्म राजेश खन्ना और शर्मीला टैगोर की जोड़ी की पहली हिट फिल्म थी.
5) इस फिल्म में सुभाष घई भी नज़र आये थे, उन्होंने इस फिल्म में सूरज यानी राजेश खन्ना के दोस्त का रोल निभाया था.
6) जब शर्मीला टैगोर बेस्ट एक्ट्रेस का फिल्मफेयर अवार्ड लेने स्टेज में गयी थी तब वे प्रेग्नेंट थी और उनकी पेट में तब सैफ अली खान थे.
7) डायरेक्टर शक्ति सामंथा इस फिल्म में शर्मीला टैगोर के बेटे के रोल के लिए किसी दूसरे एक्टर को लेना चाहते थे. पर बाद बाद में उन्होंने अपना इरादा बदल लिया और राजेश खन्ना को ही बाप और बेटे का डबल रोल दे दिया था.
8) टॉम आल्टर ने एक बार इंटरव्यू में कहा था की उन्होंने भारत के फिल्म इंस्टिट्यूट में सिर्फ राजेश खन्ना की एक्टिंग से इम्प्रेस होकर ही एडमिशन लिया था.
9) इस फिल्म का टाइटल पहले वंदना रखा गया था पर बाद में इसे बदल दिया गया था.
