1) The production of this film started from the year 1992 and it took 7 years to make this film. Director John Mathew Matthan did research for many years for this film.
2) This film was Aamir Khan and Naseeruddin Shah’s second film together. Earlier both had worked together in the film Holi which was released in 1984.
3) This film was Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s debut film. He had a small role in this film and he played the role of a goon in this film.
4) The film was later remade in Kannada and Telugu as well. The Kannada remake was titled Satyameva Jayate and the Telugu remake was titled Astram.
5) This film was the directorial debut of John Mathew Matthan.

1) इस फिल्म की प्रोडक्शन सन 1992 से शुरू हुयी थी और इस फिल्म को बनने में 7 साल का समय लगा था. इस फिल्म के लिए डायरेक्टर जॉन मैथ्यू मत्थं ने कई सालों तक रिसर्च किया था.
2) ये फिल्म आमिर खान और नसीरुद्दीन शाह की साथ में दूसरी फिल्म थी. इससे पहले दोनों ने साथ में होली फिल्म में काम किया था जो सन 1984 में रिलीज़ हुयी थी.
3) ये फिल्म नवाज़ुद्दीन सिद्दीकी की डेब्यू फिल्म थी. इस फिल्म में उनका छोटा सा रोल था और उन्होंने इस फिल्म में एक गुंडे का रोल निभाया था.
4) इस फिल्म का रीमेक बाद में कन्नड़ा और तेलुगु में भी बनाया गया था. कन्नड़ा रीमेक का टाइटल सत्यमेव जयते था तो तेलुगु रीमेक का टाइटल अस्त्रम था.
