Chaalbaaz Movie Unknown Facts :
1) The story of this film was inspired by Hemalini’s 1973 film “Sita Aur Geeta”.
2) This film was later remade in Kannada and Odia as well. The Kannada remake was titled “Rani Maharani” and the Odia remake was titled “Ganga Jamuna”.
3) In this film, Sridevi played a double role for the second time. Earlier, she also played a double role in the film Guru, which was released in the same year in February 1989.
4) This film was the only hit film of director Pankaj Parashar. After this film, all his films were flop at the box office.
5) Sridevi really did make-up of Rohini Hattangadi in this film.
6) This film was Sunny Deol and Rajinikanth’s first and only film together.
7) When the shooting of the song “Kisi Ke Haath Na Aayegi Ye Ladki” was going on, Sridevi had fever and still danced in water.
8) When Sunny Deol was offered this film, he rejected it. Because he had a small role in this film. But still Pankaj Parashar was follow him to take him in the film. Then Sunny Deol said yes in one condition. His condition was that he would have a special appearance in this film and Pankaj Parashar had agreed. But later Pankaj Parashar broke his promise and put Sunny Deol in the posters and his special appearance was not written in the credits also. Due to which Sunny Deol swore never to work with Pankaj Parashar.
9) This film was Aftab Shivdasani’s second film with Sridevi as a child artist. Earlier both were also seen in the film Mr. India.
10) This film was also dubbed and released in Telugu with the title “Boss”.
चालबाज़ फिल्म से जुड़ी कुछ अनसुनी बातें ( Facts in Hindi ) :
1) इस फिल्म की कहानी सन 1973 में आयी हेमालिनी की फिल्म ” सीता और गीता ” से इंस्पायर्ड थी.
2) इस फिल्म का रीमेक बाद में कन्नड़ा और ओड़िया में भी बनाया गया था कन्नड़ा रीमेक का टाइटल ” रानी महारानी ” था तो ओड़िया रीमेक का टाइटल ” गंगा जमुना ” था.
3) इस फिल्म में श्रीदेवी ने दूसरी बार डबल रोल निभाया था. इससे पहले उन्होंने गुरु फिल्म में भी डबल रोल निभाया था जो उसी साल ही फरवरी सन 1989 में रिलीज़ हुयी थी.
4) ये फिल्म डायरेक्टर पंकज पराशर की एक मात्र हिट फिल्म थी. इस फिल्म के बाद उनकी सभी फिल्मे बॉक्स ऑफिस में फ्लॉप रही थी.
5) इस फिल्म में श्रीदेवी ने रोहिणी हट्टंगड़ी का सच में मेकअप किया था.
6) ये फिल्म सनी देओल और रजिनीकान्त की साथ में पहली और एकमात्र फिल्म थी.
7) जब ” किसी के हाथ न आएगी ये लड़की ” गाने की शूटिंग चल रही थी तब श्रीदेवी को भुखार था और फिर भी उन्होंने पानी में डांस किया था.
8) जब सनी देओल को ये फिल्म ऑफर हुआ था तब उन्होंने रिजेक्ट कर दिया था. क्योंकि इस फिल्म में उनका छोटा सा रोल था. लेकिन फिर भी पंकज पराशर उन्हें फिल्म में लेने के लिए उनके पीछे पड़े थे. फिर सनी देओल ने एक शर्त में हाँ कहा था. उनकी शर्त ये थी की इस फिल्म में उनका स्पेशल अपीयरेंस होगा और पंकज पराशर मान गए थे. लेकिन बाद में पंकज पराशर ने अपना वादा तोड़ दिया था और सनी देओल को पोस्टर्स में रखा था और क्रेडिट्स में भी उनका स्पेशल अपीयरेंस नहीं लिखा गया था. जिससे नाराज़ होकर सनी देओल ने कभी भी पंकज पराशर के साथ काम न करने की कसम खायी थी.
9) ये फिल्म आफताब शिवदासनी की चाइल्ड आर्टिस्ट के रूप में श्रीदेवी के साथ दूसरी फिल्म थी. इससे पहले दोनों मिस्टर इंडिया फिल्म में भी नज़र आये थे.
10) इस फिल्म को तेलुगु में भी डब कर के रिलीज़ किया गया था जिसका टाइटल ” बॉस ” था.
