1) Kunal Khemu’s character was shown as a Kashmiri Pandit in this film. Whereas in real life also he is a Kashmiri Pandit, whose family had to leave Kashmir to save their life.
2) The film was earlier titled as “Blue Film”. But later it was changed to Kaliyug.
3) In this film, Amrita Singh played a negative role after 12 years. She had earlier played a negative role in the film Suryavanshi, which was released in 1993.

1) इस फिल्म में कुणाल खेमू का करैक्टर एक कश्मीरी पंडित का दिखाया गया था. जबकि रियल लाइफ में भी वे कश्मीरी पंडित है, जिनके परिवार को जान बचाने के लिए कश्मीर छोड़ना पड़ा था.
2) इस फिल्म का टाइटल पहले ” ब्लू फिल्म ” रखा गया था. लेकिन बाद में इसे बदलकर कलयुग कर दिया गया था.
3) इस फिल्म में अमृता सिंह ने 12 साल बाद नेगेटिव रोल निभाया था. उन्होंने इससे पहले सूर्यवंशी फिल्म में नेगेटिव रोल निभाया था, जो सन 1993 में रिलीज़ हुयी थी.
4) ये फिल्म मोहित सूरी के बहन स्माइली सूरी की डेब्यू फिल्म थी.
