1) ये फिल्म सन 1986 की टॉप 10 मोस्ट अवेटेड फिल्मो में से एक थी. लेकिन ये फिल्म बॉक्स ऑफिस में ज्यादा कुछ ख़ास कमाल नहीं कर पायी थी.
2) ये फिल्म डायरेक्टर मुकुल आनंद और धर्मेंद्र की साथ में पहली फिल्म थी. इसके बाद दोनों की सल्तनत फिल्म भी आयी थी, जो उसी साल ही 1986 में रिलीज़ हुयी थी.
3) इस फिल्म का टाइटल पहले बलवान रखा गया था. फिर बाद में इसे बदलकर ” मैं बलवान ” कर दिया गया था.
