Waqt Movie Unknown Facts :
1) The trend of multi-starrer films started since this film.
2) The remake of this film was later made in Telugu and Malayalam as well. The title of the Telugu remake of the film was “Bhale Abbayilu” and the film was released in 1979. So the title of the Malayalam remake was “Kolilakkam” and the film was released in 1981.
3) BR Chopra wanted to make Prithviraj Kapoor and his three sons Raj Kapoor, Shammi Kapoor and Shashi Kapoor in this film. But only Shashi Kapoor was cast in this film.
4) Before Raaj Kumar, his role was offered to Dharmendra. But he refused to work in this film. Because he did not want to play the role of elder brother.
5) The scene of Sadhna’s swimsuit changed from this film was removed by the censor board. But later that scene was put back into the film due to public demand.
6) Sunil Dutt earlier refused to act in this film. But later on Yash Chopra’s request, he agreed to work in this film.
वक़्त फिल्म से जुड़ी कुछ अनसुनी बातें ( Facts in Hindi ) :
1) इसी फिल्म के बाद से ही मल्टी स्टार्रर फिल्मो का ट्रेंड शुरू हुआ था.
2) इस फिल्म का रीमेक बाद में तेलुगु और मलयालम में भी बनाया गया था. इस फिल्म के तेलुगु रीमेक का टाइटल ” भले अबबाईलु ” था और ये फिल्म सन 1979 में रिलीज़ हुयी थी. तो मलयालम रीमेक का टाइटल ” कोलिलक्कम ” था और ये फिल्म सन 1981 में रिलीज़ हुयी थी.
3) बी आर चोपड़ा इस फिल्म में पृथ्वीराज कपूर और उनके तीन बेटे राज कपूर, शम्मी कपूर और शशि कपूर को लेकर बनाना चाहते थे. लेकिन चारो में से बस शशि कपूर को ही इस फिल्म में लिया गया था.
4) राज कुमार से पहले उनका रोल धर्मेंद्र को ऑफर हुआ था. लेकिन उन्होंने इस फिल्म में काम करने से मना कर दिया था. क्योंकि वे बड़े भाई का रोल नहीं निभाना चाहते थे.
5) इस फिल्म से साधना का स्विमसूट चेंज करने वाले सीन को सेंसर बोर्ड वालों ने हटवा दिया था. लेकिन बाद में पब्लिक डिमांड के चलते उस सीन को वापस फिल्म में रखा गया था.
6) सुनील दत्त ने पहले इस फिल्म में काम करने से मना कर दिया था. लेकिन बाद में यश चोपड़ा के कहने पर वे इस फिल्म में काम करने के लिए मान गए थे.
