1) Before Ajay Devgan, his role was offered to Akshay Kumar. But he refused to act in the film.
2) The title of Bobby Deol’s debut film Barsaat was about to jaan first. But this title was already copyrighted so this title was not kept.
3) The film was produced by Subhash Ghai’s brother Ashok Ghai. Even before that, he has produced films like Khalnayak, Ram Lakhan and Prem Deewane.
4) This film was Twinkle Khanna’s second film and her first film in 1996. The same year she also had another film “Dil Tera Deewana” released.
5) When the shooting of this film was going on, it is said that Ajay and Twinkle were also having an affair. For this reason, Ajay and Karishma also had a fight. Because Ajay and Karishma were in a relationship then.

1) अजय देवगन से पहले उनका रोल अक्षय कुमार को ऑफर हुआ था. लेकिन उन्होंने इस फिल्म में काम करने से मना कर दिया था.
2) बॉबी देओल की डेब्यू फिल्म बरसात का टाइटल पहले जान होने वाला था. लेकिन ये टाइटल पहले ही कॉपीराइटेड था इसलिए इस टाइटल को नहीं रखा गया था.
3) इस फिल्म को सुभाष घई के भाई अशोक घई ने प्रोडूस किया था. इससे पहले भी वे खलनायक, राम लखन और प्रेम दीवाने जैसी फिल्मो को प्रोडूस क्र चुके हैं.
4) ये फिल्म ट्विंकल खन्ना की दूसरी और सन 1996 की उनकी पहली फिल्म थी. उसी साल उनकी एक और फिल्म ” दिल तेरा दीवाना ” भी रिलीज़ हुयी थी.
5) जब इस फिल्म की शूटिंग चल रही थी तब कहा जाता है की अजय और ट्विंकल का भी अफेयर चल रहा था. इसी वजह से अजय और करिश्मा की भी लड़ाई होती थी. क्योंकि अजय और करिश्मा तब रिलेशनशिप में थे.
