1) Juhi Chawla’s mother died during the shooting of this film. Due to which Yash Johar cancelled the shooting. Due to the cancellation of the shooting, the film also suffered a little loss. Hence Shahrukh Khan also reduced his fees.
2) Sonali Bendre’s role was first offered to Ramya Krishnan . But she refused to act in the film.
3) Kajol did a cameo in this film. She was seen in the train scene.
4) Shah Rukh Khan played a double role for the second time in this film. Prior to this he played a triple role in the English Babu Desi Mem film.

1) इस फिल्म की शूटिंग के दौरान जूही चावला की माँ की मौत हो गयी थी. जिसके कारण यश जौहर ने शूटिंग कैंसिल कर दी थी. शूटिंग कैंसिल होने से फिल्म को थोड़ा घाटा भी हुआ था. इसलिए शाहरुख़ खान ने भी अपनी फीस कम कर दी थी.
2) सोनाली बेंद्रे से पहले उनका रोल रम्या कृष्णन को ऑफर हुआ था. लेकिन उन्होंने इस फिल्म में काम करने से मना कर दिया था.
3) इस फिल्म में काजोल ने कैमियो किया था. वे ट्रैन वाले सीन में नज़र आयी थी.
