Mahakaal Movie Unknown Facts :

1) This film was the last film made under the direction of Shyam Ramsay and Tulsi Ramsay. After this film, both left the films and move towards TV shows and made India’s most horror TV serial Zee Horror Show. However, after the Mahakal film, Shyam Ramsay alone directed the talashi, Dhund and Neighbour films. While Tulsi Ramsay did not direct any film again after the movie Mahakaal.

2) The film was inspired from the 1984 Hollywood horror film “A Nightmare on Elm Street”.

3) Mahavir Bhullar played the role of Mahakaal in this film.

4) This film was Archana Puran Singh’s second horror film. Prior to this she also worked in the film Woh Phir Aayengi, which was released in 1988.

5) In this film, Johnny Lever played the triple role for the first time. After this film, he also played a triple role in Judge Mujrim and Achanak Films.

महाकाल फिल्म से जुड़ी कुछ अनसुनी बातें ( Facts in Hindi ) :

1) ये फिल्म श्याम रामसे और तुलसी रामसे की डायरेक्शन में बनी आखरी फिल्म थी. इस फिल्म के बाद उन्होंने फ़िल्मी दुनिया छोड़कर टीवी शोज की तरफ कदम बढ़ाये थे और भारत का सबसे डरावना टीवी सीरियल ज़ी हॉरर शो बनाया था. हालाँकि महाकाल फिल्म की बाद श्याम रामसे ने अकेले ही तलाशी, धुंद और नेबर फिल्मो को डायरेक्ट किया था. जबकि तुलसी रामसे ने महाकाल फिल्म के बाद दोबारा कोई फिल्म डायरेक्ट नहीं किया था.

2) ये फिल्म सन 1984 में आयी हॉलीवुड हॉरर फिल्म ” अ नाईटमेयर ऑन एल्म स्ट्रीट ” से प्रेरित थी.

3) इस फिल्म में महावीर भुल्लर ने महाकाल का रोल निभाया था.

4) ये फिल्म अर्चना पूरन सिंह की दूसरी हॉरर फिल्म थी. इससे पहले उन्होंने वो फिर आएगी फिल्म में भी काम किया था, जो सन 1988 में रिलीज़ हुयी थी.

5) इस फिल्म में जॉनी लीवर ने पहली बार ट्रिपल रोल निभाया था. इस फिल्म के बाद उन्होंने जज मुजरिम और अचानक फिल्म में भी ट्रिपल रोल निभाया था.

6) इस फिल्म की प्रोडक्शन सन 1988 से शुरू हुयी थी. लेकिन कुछ कारण से ये फिल्म डिले हो गयी थी और फिर अंत में सन 1994 में जाकर रिलीज़ हुयी थी.
