Vardi Movie Unknown Facts :
1) The rights to this film were bought by Shahrukh Khan’s Red Chillies Company.
2) This film was first to be directed by Rahul Rawail. But for some reason, he left the film.
3) When Rahul Rawail was about to direct this film. The title of this film was then kept as ” Shahzaade “. But later the title was changed after Rahul Rawal’s removal.
4) Before Dharmendra, Sunil Dutt was to play Havaldar Bhagwan Singh in this film. But he later left the film for some reason.
5) This film was the first release of 1989 and was also a box office success.
6) Kadar Khan played a double role in this film. He played the role of Lalchand and Balakishan in this film. Of which Lalchand was the villain of this film.
7) Kadar Khan’s son Sarfaraz had said in an interview that when he was younger, he had seen a vardi film. In that film, his father Kader Khan played a negative role. After watching that film, Sarfraz was very scared of his father at home too.
8) Sridevi was offered an item song in this film. But he then demanded a fee of Rs 3 lakh. So she was not taken. Then finally this item song was done by Leena Das.
9) When the shooting of this film started, Madhuri Dixit had a big role in this film. But later Madhuri Dixit felt that this film has got a lot of characters and the film has also become longer. So when it came time for editing, many of her scenes were removed from the film. Because her role was not very special in this film. Madhuri Dixit later regretted working in this film.
10) This film was the first film of Jackie Shroff and Sunny Deol together. After this, the two also worked together in the films “Tridev”, “Main Tera Dushman”, “Dushmani” and “Border”.
वर्दी फिल्म से जुड़ी कुछ अनसुनी बातें ( Facts in Hindi ) :
1) इस फिल्म के राइट्स को शाहरुख़ खान की रेड चिल्लीज कंपनी ने ख़रीदा था.
2) इस फिल्म को पहले राहुल रवैल डायरेक्ट करने वाले थे. लेकिन कुछ कारण से वे इस फिल्म से हट गए थे.
3) जब इस फिल्म को राहुल रवैल डायरेक्ट करने वाले थे. तब इस फिल्म का टाइटल शहज़ादे रखा गया था. लेकिन बाद में राहुल रवैल के हटने के बाद ये टाइटल बदल दिया गया था.
4) धर्मेंद्र से पहले इस फिल्म में हवालदार भगवान सिंह का रोल सुनील दत्त निभाने वाले थे. लेकिन कुछ कारण से बाद में वे इस फिल्म से हट गए थे.
5) ये फिल्म सन 1989 की पहली रिलीज़ हुयी फिल्म थी और बॉक्स ऑफिस में सक्सेस भी हुयी थी.
6) इस फिल्म में कदर खान ने डबल रोल निभाया था. उन्होंने इस फिल्म में लालचंद और बालकिशन का रोल निभाया था. जिसमे से लालचंद इस फिल्म के विलेन थे.
7) कादर खान के बेटे सरफ़राज़ ने एक इंटरव्यू में कहा था की जब वे छोटे थे तो उन्होंने वर्दी फिल्म देखि थी. उस फिल्म में उनके पिता कादर खान ने नेगेटिव रोल निभाया था. उस फिल्म को देखने के बाद सरफ़राज़ अपने पिता से घर में भी बहुत डरने लगे थे.
8) श्रीदेवी को इस फिल्म में एक आइटम सांग का ऑफर हुआ था. लेकिन उन्होंने तब 3 लाख रूपये फीस की डिमांड की थी. इसलिए उन्हें नहीं लिया गया था. फिर अंत में ये आइटम सांग लीना दास ने किया था.
9) जब इस फिल्म की शूटिंग शुरू हुयी थी तब इस फिल्म में माधुरी दीक्षित का बड़ा रोल था. लेकिन बाद में माधुरी दीक्षित को लगा की इस फिल्म में बहुत सारे करैक्टर्स हो गए हैं और फिल्म भी लम्बी हो गयी है. इसलिए जब एडिटिंग का समय आया तो उनके बहुत सारे सीन्स फिल्म से हटा दिए गए थे. क्योंकि उनका रोल इस फिल्म में ज्यादा कुछ ख़ास नहीं था. बाद में माधुरी दीक्षित को इस फिल्म में काम करने का बहुत पछतावा हुआ था.
10) ये फिल्म जैकी श्रॉफ और सनी देओल की साथ में पहली फिल्म थी. इसके बाद दोनों ने साथ में ” त्रिदेव “, ” मैं तेरा दुश्मन “, ” दुश्मनी ” और ” बॉर्डर ” फिल्म में भी काम किया था.
