Sangeet Movie Unknown Facts :
1) Madhuri Dixit played a double role for the first time in this film. She played the role of mother and daughter in this film. After this film, she also played the double role of mother and daughter in the movie Aansu Bane Angare.
2) Paresh Rawal was signed before Shafi Inamdar in this film. He also shot for this film for a few days. But there was a fight between Paresh Rawal and director K. Vishwanath over some matter. That’s why Paresh Rawal left the film.
3) Even though the film flopped badly at the box office. But Madhuri Dixit’s acting was praised by everyone.
4) Before Madhuri Dixit, her role was offered to Jaya Prada. But she refused to act in the film.
5) The music rights of this film were bought by Gulshan Kumar. Gulshan Kumar told director K. Vishwanath that all the songs of this film will be sung by Anuradha Paudwal. But director K. Vishwanath did not feel it right. He wanted Lata Mangeshkar to sing all the songs in this film. Gulshan Kumar had said that if Anuradha Paudwal does not sing in this film, he will return the music rights. After which the director K Vishwanath had to accept Gulshan Kumar offer.
संगीत फिल्म से जुड़ी कुछ अनसुनी बातें ( Facts in Hindi ) :
1) इस फिल्म में पहली बार माधुरी दीक्षित ने डबल रोल निभाया था. उन्होंने इस फिल्म में माँ और बेटी का रोल निभाया था. इस फिल्म के बाद उन्होंने आँसू बने अंगारे फिल्म में भी माँ और बेटी का डबल रोल निभाया था.
2) इस फिल्म में शफी इनामदार से पहले परेश रावल को साइन किया गया था. उन्होंने इस फिल्म की शूटिंग कुछ दिन की भी थी. लेकिन कुछ बात को लेकर परेश रावल और डायरेक्टर के विश्वनाथ के बीच में लड़ाई हो गयी थी. इसलिए परेश रावल इस फिल्म से हट गए थे.
3) भले ये फिल्म बॉक्स ऑफिस में बुरी तरह से फ्लॉप हुयी थी. लेकिन माधुरी दीक्षित की एक्टिंग को सभी ने पसंद किया था.
4) माधुरी दीक्षित से पहले उनका रोल जया प्रदा को ऑफर हुआ था. लेकिन उन्होंने इस फिल्म में काम करने से मना कर दिया था.
5) इस फिल्म के म्यूजिक राइट्स को गुलशन कुमार ने खरीदा था. गुलशन कुमार ने डायरेक्टर के विश्वनाथ से कहा था की इस फिल्म के सभी गानों को अनुराधा पौडवाल गायेंगी. लेकिन डायरेक्टर के विश्वनाथ को ये ठीक नहीं लग रहा था. वे चाहते थे की इस फिल्म के सभी गाने लता मंगेशकर गाये. गुलशन कुमार ने कहा था की अगर इस फिल्म में अनुराधा पौडवाल नहीं गायेंगी तो वे म्यूजिक राइट्स उन्हें वापस लौटा देंगे. जिसके बाद डायरेक्टर के विश्वनाथ को गुलशन कुमार की बात मानना ही पड़ा था.
