Do Qaidi Movie Unknown Facts :
1) Kanu’s role was first offered to Aditya Pancholi. But he refused to work in this film. Then this role was also offered to Chunky Pandey. But he too refused. Then this role was finally played by Govinda.
2) Govinda used to arrive late at the sets during the shooting of this film. Because he used to shoot other films as well. Amrish Puri used to get very angry with Govinda because of late coming. One day, Amrish Puri angrily called Govinda a ” Gandi Naali Ke Keede”. Due to which Govinda felt very bad and since then he has never worked with Amrish Puri again.
3) This film was the second film of Sanjay Dutt and Govinda together. The first film together was “Jeet Hain Shaan Se” which was released in 1988. After Do Qaidi film, both of them worked together in many films and both of them were huge hits.
4) The shooting of this film started from 1986. But Govinda could not give dates to this film. So this film was released after 3 years of delay.
दो कैदी फिल्म से जुड़ी कुछ अनसुनी बातें ( Facts in Hindi ) :
1) कनु का रोल सबसे पहले आदित्य पंचोली को ऑफर हुआ था. लेकिन उन्होंने इस फिल्म में काम करने से मना कर दिया था. फिर ये रोल चंकी पांडे को भी ऑफर हुआ था. लेकिन उन्होंने भी मना कर दिया था. फिर ये रोल अंत में गोविंदा ने निभाया था.
2) इस फिल्म की शूटिंग के दौरान गोविंदा सेट्स में देर से पहुँचते थे. क्योंकि वे दूसरी फिल्मो की शूटिंग भी करते थे. गोविंदा के लेट आने के कारण अमरीश पूरी उनसे बहुत गुस्सा होते थे. एक दिन अमरीश पूरी ने गुस्से में गोविंदा को ” गन्दी नाले के कीड़े ” बोल दिया था. जिसके कारण गोविंदा को बहुत बुरा लगा था और तब से उन्होंने अमरीश पूरी के साथ दोबारा कभी काम नहीं किया.
3) ये फिल्म संजय दत्त और गोविंदा की साथ में दूसरी फिल्म थी. दोनों की साथ में पहली फिल्म ” जीते हैं शान से ” थी जो सन 1988 में रिलीज़ हुयी थी. दो क़ैदी फिल्म के बाद दोनों ने साथ में कई फिल्मो में काम किया था और दोनों की जोड़ी बहुत हिट भी हुयी थी.
4) इस फिल्म की शूटिंग सन 1986 से शुरू हुयी थी. लेकिन गोविंदा इस फिल्म को डेट्स नहीं दे पा रहे थे. इसलिए ये फिल्म 3 साल डिले होने के बाद रिलीज़ हुयी थी.
