1) There was a fight between Salman Khan’s father Salim Khan and Mahesh Bhatt over money. Due to which Salman Khan swore that he would never work in Mahesh Bhatt’s film.
2) Vinod Khanna stopped shooting for the film in mid-way and demanded to increase his fees.
3) The film was a Hindi remake of the 1987 Hollywood film “Someone to Watch Over Me”.
4) In this film, Meenakshi Seshadri’s name is Meena and in real her nickname is also Meena.
5) Mukesh Bhatt had said in an interview that this film was going to be completed in 6 months. But due to Vinod Khanna, this film was delayed and was completed in 2 years. Mukesh Bhatt and Mahesh Bhatt had criticized Vinod Khanna in many interviews and said that he would never work with Vinod Khanna again.

1) सलमान खान के पिता सलीम खान और महेश भट्ट के बीच में पैसों को लेकर लड़ाई हो गयी थी. जिसके कारण सलमान खान ने कसम खायी थी की वे कभी भी महेश भट्ट की फिल्म में काम नहीं करेंगे.
2) विनोद खन्ना ने इस फिल्म की शूटिंग बीच में ही रोक दी थी और अपनी फीस बढ़ाने की डिमांड की थी.
3) ये फिल्म सन 1987 में आयी हॉलीवुड फिल्म ” समवन टू वाच ओवर मी ” की हिंदी रीमेक थी.
4) इस फिल्म में मिनाक्षी शेषाद्रि का नाम मीना रहता है और रियल में भी उनका निक नेम मीना है.
5) मुकेश भट्ट ने एक इंटरव्यू में कहा था की ये फिल्म 6 महीने में बनकर तैयार होने वाली थी. लेकिन विनोद खन्ना के कारण ये फिल्म डिले होते रही थी और फिर 2 साल में बनकर तैयार हुयी थी. मुकेश भट्ट और महेश भट्ट ने बहुत से इंटरव्यूज में विनोद खन्ना को कोसा था और कहा था की वे कभी भी दोबारा विनोद खन्ना के साथ काम नहीं करेंगे.
