1) The film was a Hindi remake of the 1984 Telugu film Mayuri and Sudha Chandran played the lead role in both the films.
2) This film was the biography of Sudha Chandran, the actress of this film.
3) Before Shekhar Suman, Sumeet Saigal was first casted in this film. He also shot the film for 3 days. But the makers of the film were not happy with his acting. So then Shekhar Suman was signed in place of sumeet saigal.
4) In 1981, at the age of 16, Sudha Chandran had to lose one of her legs in an accident. Then after 2 years of that accident, she started their dance again. She also performed her dance from India to Saudi Arabia, United States and Canada. During one of her stage performances, blood started coming out from her feet, yet she kept dancing till the dance was over.

1) ये फिल्म सन 1984 में आयी तेलुगु फिल्म मयूरी की हिंदी रीमेक थी और दोनों ही फिल्मो में सुधा चंद्रन ने लीड रोल निभाया था.
2) ये फिल्म इसी फिल्म की एक्ट्रेस सुधा चंद्रन की बायोग्राफी थी.
3) शेखर सुमन से पहले इस फिल्म में सुमीत सैगल को लिया गया था. उन्होंने इस फिल्म की शूटिंग 3 दिनों तक भी की थी. लेकिन फिल्म के मेकर्स उनकी एक्टिंग से खुश नहीं थे. इसलिए फिर उन्हे हटाकर शेखर सुमन को लिया गया था.
4) सन 1981 में मात्र 16 साल की उम्र में एक एक्सीडेंट में सुधा चंद्रन को अपना एक पैर गंवाना पड़ा था. फिर उस एक्सीडेंट के 2 साल बाद उन्होंने फिर से अपना डांस शुरू किया था. उन्होंने भारत से लेकर सऊदी अरबिया, यूनाइटेड स्टेट्स और कनाडा में भी अपना डांस परफॉर्म किया था. उनके एक स्टेज परफॉरमेंस के दौरान उनके पैर से खून भी निकलने लगा था, फिर भी वे डांस ख़त्म होने तक नाचती रही थी.
