1) ये भारत की पहली ऐसी फिल्म थी जो 2002 में आयी सीरियल खिचड़ी पर आधारित थी.
2) इस फिल्म में जयश्री पारेख का रोल निमिषा वखारिआ ने निभाया था, जबकि खिचड़ी सीरियल में वंदना पाठक ने ये रोल निभाया था.
3) इस फिल्म में फराह खान ने कैमियो रोल निभाया था. उन्होंने इस फिल्म में खुद का रोल ही निभाया था और डायरेक्टर बनी नज़र आयी थी.
4) इस फिल्म में जमनादास मजिठिआ की असली बेटी केसर मजिठिआ भी नज़र आयी थी. उन्होंने इस फिल्म में हंसा और प्रफुल पारेख की बेटी का रोल निभाया था.
5) इस फिल्म की पूरी शूटिंग को मात्र 39 दिनों में किया गया था.
