1) The film was a Hindi remake of the 1986 Malayalam film Aavanazhi.
2) No film of Vinod Khanna came after 1983, as he left the film industry for following spirituality . And the film Satyamev Jayate was Vinod Khanna’s comeback film.
3) Madhavi’s role was first offered to Hema Malini but she refused to act in the film.
4) This film was the first film of Vinod Khanna and Minakshi Seshadri together. After this, the two worked together in a total of 6 films including Jurm, Kshatriya and Humshakal.

1) ये फिल्म 1986 में आयी मलयालम फिल्म आवानाज़ही की हिंदी रीमेक थी.
2) सन 1983 के बाद विनोद खन्ना की कोई भी फिल्म नहीं आयी थी, क्योंकि उन्होंने फिल्म इंडस्ट्री को आध्यात्मिक ज्ञान के लिए छोड़ दिया था. और सत्यमवे जयते फिल्म विनोद खन्ना की कमबैक फिल्म थी.
3) माधवी का रोल पहले हेमा मालिनी को ऑफर हुआ था पर उन्होंने इस फिल्म में काम करने से मना कर दिया था.
4) ये फिल्म विनोद खन्ना और मिनाक्षी शेषाद्रि की साथ में पहली फिल्म थी. इसके बाद दोनों ने साथ में जुर्म, क्षत्रिय और हमशक्ल सहित कुल 6 फिल्मो में काम किया था.
