Ghajini Movie Unknown Facts and Trivia :
1) The satellite rights of this film were sold to Sun TV.
2) AR Murugadoss got an offer from Tollywood to remake this film. But he had refused and said that such films are made only once. But when Aamir Khan offered AR Murugadoss to make a Hindi remake of the film, he agreed. In 2008, there was a Hindi remake of this film, whose title was also Ghajini.
3) Pradeep Rawat played the role of Ghajini in both Kollywood Ghajini and Bollywood Ghajini.
4) This film was inspired by the 2000 Hollywood film Momento.
5) Riyaz Khan played the role of Inspector in both Kollywood Ghajini and Bollywood Ghajini.
6) To fit the character of this film, Suriya went to the hospital to meet the patients who had memory problems. Surya had also made a video of those patients so that their expression could be understood properly.
7) This film was launched in the year 2004, then its title was Myrtle. Then Ajith Kumar, Asin and Shriya Saran were going to be seen in this film. So Prakash Raj was going to appear in the role of Villain. But due to some reason then this project was stopped for some time. Then this project came to the new producer and then Ajith Kumar was replaced by Suriya in this film. So Prakash Raj was replaced by Pradeep Rawat while Shriya Saran was replaced by Nayantara.
8) The role Asin played in this film, she also played the same role in Bollywood’s Ghajini.

1) इस फिल्म के सॅटॅलाइट राइट्स को सन टीवी वालों को बेचा गया था.
2) ए आर मुरुगाडोस को टॉलीवूड से इस फिल्म का रीमेक बनाने का ऑफर आया था. लेकिन उन्होंने मना कर दिया था और कहा था की ऐसी फिल्मे सिर्फ एक बार ही बनती है. लेकिन जब आमिर खान ने ए आर मुरुगाडोस को इस फिल्म का हिंदी रीमेक बनाने का ऑफर दिया था तब वे मान गए थे. सन 2008 में इस फिल्म का हिंदी रीमेक आया था, जिसका टाइटल भी ग़जनी था.
3) कॉलीवूड ग़जनी और बॉलीवुड ग़जनी दोनों में ग़जनी का रोल प्रदीप रावत ने निभाया था.
4) ये फिल्म सन 2000 में आयी हॉलीवुड फिल्म मोमेंटो से प्रेरित थी.

7) इस फिल्म को सन 2004 में लांच किया गया था तब इसका टाइटल मिरट्टल था. इस फिल्म में तब अजित कुमार, असिन और श्रिया सरन नज़र आने वाले थे. तो प्रकाश राज विलेन के रोल में दिखने वाले थे. लेकिन कुछ कारण से तब इस प्रोजेक्ट को कुछ समय के लिए बंद कर दिया गया था. फिर ये प्रोजेक्ट नए प्रोडूसर के पास आ गया और तब इस फिल्म में अजित कुमार की जगह सूर्या को लिया गया था. तो प्रकाश राज की जगह प्रदीप रावत को लिया गया था वहीँ श्रिया सरन की जगह नयनतारा को लिया गया था.
8) असिन ने जो रोल इस फिल्म में निभाया था वही रोल उन्होंने ने बॉलीवुड के ग़जनी फिल्म में भी निभाया था.
