Zameen Movie Facts :
1) The film was released in the Soviet Union in 1980 and the film collected 11.46 crores and declared to be an overseas blockbuster.
By combining this overseas collection, Zanjeer’s overall verdict was an all-time blockbuster, otherwise the film was just a blockbuster.
2) The remake of this film was later made in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi as well.
Ram Charan, Priyanka Chopra and Sanjay Dutt were seen in its Hindi remake and the film was released in 2013.
The film was also released in Telugu under the name Toofan, and in this Telugu version, Srihari played the role of Sher Khan.
3) This film made Amitabh Bachchan a overnight superstar and he was also called The Angry Young Man.
4) Before Amitabh Bachchan, his role was offered to Raj Kumar, but he refused to work in this film.
5) The trend of action films started in Bollywood only after this film.
ज़ंजीर फिल्म से जुडी कुछ अनसुनी बातें ( Facts in Hindi ) :
1) इस फिल्म को सन 1980 में सोवियत यूनियन में रिलीज़ किया गया था और वहां इस फिल्म ने 11.46 करोड़ का कलेक्शन किया था और ओवरसीज ब्लॉकबस्टर साबित हुयी थी.
इसी ओवरसीज कलेक्शन को मिलाकर ज़ंजीर का ओवरआल वर्डिक्ट आल टाइम ब्लॉकबस्टर हुआ था वरना फिल्म सिर्फ ब्लॉकबस्टर थी.
2) इस फिल्म का रीमेक बाद में तेलुगु, तमिल, मलयालम और हिंदी में भी बनाया गया था.
इसके हिंदी रीमेक में राम चरण, प्रियंका चोपड़ा और संजय दत्त नज़र आये थे और ये फिल्म 2013 में रिलीज़ हुयी थी.
साथ ही इस फिल्म में थोड़े बदलाव करके तूफ़ान नाम से तेलुगु में भी रिलीज़ किया गया था और इस तेलुगु वर्शन में शेर खान का रोल श्रीहरि ने निभाया था.
3) इस फिल्म ने अमिताभ बच्चन को रातो रात सुपरस्टार बना दिया था और उन्हें तब द एंग्री यंग मैन भी कहा जाता था.
4) अमिताभ बच्चन से पहले उनका रोल राज कुमार को ऑफर हुआ था पर उन्होंने इस फिल्म में काम करने से मना कर दिया था.
5) इसी फिल्म के बाद से ही बॉलीवुड में एक्शन फिल्मों का ट्रेंड शुरू हुआ था.
