1) This film was Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan’s third film together. Earlier, both of them were also seen together in the film Heyy Babyy and Bhool Bhulaiyaa.
2) This film was the debut film of Nithya Menon in Bollywood.
3) Before Nithya Menon, Varsha Pillai’s role was offered to Manju Warrier. But she refused to work in this film.
4) The story of this film was based on the launch of Mars Orbiter Mission by ISRO in 2013.
5) This film was earlier titled as “Mahila Mandali”. But later due to some reason it was changed to Mission Mangal.

1) ये फिल्म अक्षय कुमार और विद्या बालन की साथ में तीसरी फिल्म थी. इससे पहले दोनों साथ में हे बेबी और भूल भुलैय्या फिल्म में भी नज़र आये थे.
2) ये फिल्म निथ्या मेनोन की बॉलीवुड में डेब्यू फिल्म थी.
3) निथ्या मेनोन से पहले वर्षा पिल्लई का रोल मंजू वारियर को ऑफर हुआ था. लेकिन उन्होंने इस फिल्म में काम करने से मना कर दिया था.
4) इस फिल्म की कहानी सन 2013 में इसरो ( ISRO ) द्वारा मार्स ऑर्बिटर मिशन के लॉन्चेड होने पर आधारित थी.
5) इस फिल्म का टाइटल पहले ” महिला मंडली ” रखा गया था. लेकिन बाद में कुछ कारण से इसे बदलकर मिशन मंगल कर दिया गया था.
